Places of worship present a unique set of challenges for intelligible sound reproduction. Not only are many of these buildings highly reverberant, the nature and age of the construction means opportunities to run additional cabling are rare and expensive negating the use of technologies such as steerable line array speakers with dsp. Fulgor Services have solved this problem bringing 21st century technology to all these environments at affordable prices with minimal disruption
The linear array speakers from Fulgor Services are all designed and built in their Italian factory. The aesthetically pleasing slim housings combine 2 to 20 speakers to produce crystal clear sound with natural timbre for speech. The standard colours are white and Volcano, but they can also be supplied in other RAL colours if required.
Active One System technology
This unique technology is already revolutionising audio installations in Catholic churches on 3 continents and is now available to all in the UK. By combining the audio signal with the D.C. power a new generation of active speakers is possible. Places of worship are often acoustically challenging environments, linear speaker arrays with digital signal processing can provide a step change in audio clarity and intelligibility, but these complex systems have always been too expensive and costly to install in all but the wealthiest venues. Active One System technology changes this. The dsp speakers are competitively priced but most significant is only 2 conductors per speaker array are required (1mm2 csa min.) If your client has an existing 2 wire speaker system, you can transform the sound finesse of their audio in a day by installing Fulgor Active Array Speakers.
Simply remove the old speakers and replace with Fulgor Active array Speakers, Vertical Activo or Activo Focus, connect them to the All One supply then adjust the audio signal characteristics on each speaker in turn, including the audio delay, sit back and enjoy. Leave cable installation to the less well informed.

Vertical ACTIVO Speaker array
ACTIVO digital DSP amplified active speakers are for multipoint systems where high levels of audio quality and intelligibility are required.
They have an integrated DSP and ONE circuit on board which enables them to work on a simple twin core cable. Both signal and 43Vd.c. power are transmitted on this cable. This makes installations easy without compromising audio clarity.
High precision calibration of volume tone and delay are made, area by area, speaker by speaker, ensuring a final result impossible to achieve with a conventional system. An ACTIVO multipoint audio system does not need an expensive multi-processor output and numerous amplifiers, cables and dedicated lines, but simply a single power supply and a twin core cable. Vertical ACTIVO provides excellent dynamic pressure and acoustic homogeneity in the structure to be amplified ensuring greater intelligibility and sound definition to satisfy even the most demanding designer.

Vertical ACTIVO Focus Speaker array
ACTIVO Focus adds vertical beam steering
Building on the architecture of the Vertical ACTIVO array these speakers feature a more powerful dsp and a 4 channel amplifier which combined using a customised algorithm controls the direction of the sound.
Each group of the ACTIVO Focus speakers are driven by separate DSP units and amplifiers to combine the main parameters level, bandwidth, delay, so as to create an homogeneous beam. The algorithm for ACTIVO Focus control is built in, allowing the technician control over the volume, delay, vertical angulation of the beam from 0° to -10°. through an intuitive controller. And as with Vertical ACTIVO it all happens over a twin core cable.

Vertical is the new collection of Fulgor Service speakers designed, engineered and built to achieve the best speech intelligibility in the coverage area.
It is an array speaker system that combines a slim aesthetic with high quality intelligible sound reproduction and is typically used in multipoint systems. It is available in a range of configurations, 2/4/6/8/10 speakers equipped with an autotransformer to achieve the required sound pressure in the coverage area.
Vertical is designed and built in the Fulgor Service manufacturing facility in Italy using Italian made components this gives them full control in quality and production flexibility to meet the exacting requirements of their customers.

Directivity is a Fulgor Service audio system which provides effective control of the radiation pattern or sound beam in both the horizontal and vertical planes.
Directivity system technology includes:
1 x digital processor with a specific algorithm
1 x D&D control software
1 x array speaker (16 or 20 transducers)
1 x 6 channel class C D amplifier.
This system provides large area coverage of acoustically challenging environments. The sofware controls speaker array power in both the Vertical and horizontal planes giving excellent homogeneous coverage without generating harmful backscattering. The result is crystal clear sound, with excellent speech intelligibility.
Directivity speaker is made up of groups of speakers connected separately with amplifiers, driven by the processor’s algorithm which allows operation. Two different model of speakers are available for Directivity system, according to the sound coverage requirement. The 2 available speakers have a range of 25m to 45m respectively.
